A strange green light appeared on Mount Merapi (Indonesia) at the end of May 2021, raising suspicions about aliens visiting Earth.
According to Daily Mail, Indonesian photographer Gunarto Song took a photo of a strange blue light appearing above the Merapi crater on May 28.
The green light looks like a laser shot from the Merapi crater. Gunarto shared this interesting photo on his personal Instagram page with the caption: “Did a meteorite fall into the top of Mount Merapi?”. The post quickly attracted more than 28,000 “Likes” and many comments.
Scott C Waring, a famous conspiracy theorist, said: “It could be an alien UFO flying over the island of Java or a stray meteorite from the Eta Aquarid rain in May.”
According to Waring, the green streak was caused by an alien spacecraft flying into or out of the volcano. He also said that this was their hiding area.
It is known that Mr. Waring has shared many suspicious clips and images believed to be extraterrestrial creatures. Last year, he claimed a UFO was spotted flying off Sicily’s Stromboli volcano. Another time, he claimed to have found a spaceship flying out of Mexico’s El Popo volcano. Waring believes that “volcanoes around the world are all related to alien events. The fact that UFOs go in and out of volcanoes means it must lead somewhere.” One of the reasons people often suspect that extraterrestrial beings use this location is because no one has been able to go inside the volcano to explore. Of course, there is no reliable evidence to support Waring’s claims.
Meanwhile, the Indonesian National Institute of Aeronautics and Space (LAPAN) said: “It is possible that the strange blue light came from the two meteor showers Eta Aquarid and Arietid taking place at the same time. The light has a color green appears to be meteors falling around Mount Merapi and is dominated by the element Magnesium”.

Mount Merapi is located on the border of Central Java province and the Yogyakarta special region. This is one of the most active volcanoes in the world.
